A Poem by Hank Writes

So many miles separate, but we’re never divided

Lost so much time, but I am so patient

I don’t have you, but I get you

Unable to touch skin, but I feel your soul

If I close my eyes, then I can see you

This love fulfills me, and I know that it’s true

But is it real? Do you feel it, too?

Someday, the past and the distance will be gone

Then I will know, if this is genuine or dream

Your gaze and your smile will give you away

If it is false and I am wrong, I’ve lost nothing

For I have was warmed and happy even by this fantasy

However, if I am right, I have gained everything

And I will never let you go
