To my wonderful mother on Mother’s Day

I wish to say thank you. 

I had written you a poem

That rhymed perfect

But it didn’t say enough

There’s no way

To say in a poem

Where I focused more

On counting beats

And moving words

And making rhymes

To tell you

How much you’ve done for me

How much I would do for you

What a great mom you are

And how much I
