The FallA Poem by BoldpenWhen You fall from heights of success..I have fallen, I've fallen down Now stripped off my success crown, through the winds of times In dark well of failure deep Shattered fame of mine now sleeps With past of joyful chimes. All the glory, all the love Flew away on wings of dove No one knows my name Those who hugged, those who clapped Were the ones, me who slapped Who should now I blame? All my friends in the town Turn away their face in frown In me they all believed Held me when bright was side Shoved me off in high tide No one as my lead. I stare with pain in gaze As world shows its true face None would hear me call You stand all lone in strife A lesson so true in life Taught by this free fall So, I will climb up back Mend away the things I lack And bear all the pain With my soul forever be heated As the rise would be repeated Each time I fall again. © 2012 BoldpenAuthor's Note
