Bird Tales

One of my favorite poems that I've written. :)

Listen to the birds sing,

Listen to them wail,

Listen to the little birds

Telling little tales.

Tales of mouths to feed

And tales of life afar,

Tales of the life and fear and death

That made them what they are.

Hear the joyful chitters,

And hear the mournful cries,

Hear and you can imagine what

Was seen by each bird's eyes.
