Deadmen, a Word

Deadmen, a Word

A Poem by Laurent Hardesty

"
Life is Doomed to Death.
Death is Doomed to Loss.
You Would Not Understand This
Unless You are a Deadman Already.

To Know These Words
Is the Mystery!
Alchemy, Masonry, And Illuminat,
All Know the Answer is Not of Faith,
But of Mind!

To Climb a Mountain,
Is Not to Move a Mountain.
To Move a Mountain,
Is the Goal of
Mankind's Greatest Thought!

If a Man Dares Enter
The Chamber,
Bring With Him
Everything He Got!

Mankind's Greatest Thought,
Was Of God!
And that Was All You Need,
Deadmen,
To Believe!

Preaching to the choir - we often understand our own words and yet blank on others' - 'til we don't...
my understanding of your wording follows a wide life experience and an assumption of philosophical followings. You "play" with your words because you can and THAT takes more skill than most can assume.
