The Flower with a Bug in itA Poem by Laurent Hardesty
Let me Pick a Flower.
And It'll Be a Flower With a Small Bug in It. I Understand We All Like Flowers, But Let Me Ask You, What is Wrong with the Bug? I See the Sympathy, Between the Bug and Flower. We All Like Flowers, But No-one Likes Bugs. Nothing is Wrong, With it's Simple Skeleton. But We Are Disgusted, With it's Minute Existence. So I Pick a Flower, With a Bug in It, And I Understand You Like Flowers, But Again, What is Wrong with the Bug Inside? © 2020 Laurent Hardesty |
