Faith, Hope and Love

I was looking to the sky
asking for answers,
but all I got was rain.

 

I was thinking of Pandora
unleashing optimism,
the bringer of inevitable pain.

 

I have tried to overcome
what has been unrequited,
now fear I’m no longer sane.

I love this its short an its touching the simple but beautiful words u put is great an how u reference to pandora is awsome beacuse it shows the depth to the poem. I think this is one of my favorite poems Iv read. I do agree maybe it should be called lost or something instead but I do like the poem that can stay as it is.

faith, hope and love seem somewhat lost
perhaps a more fitting title might be "unrequited love", or something more indicative of the feeling in the piece. carries deep feelings, but apparently holds little hope

a dark, gloomy place
in need of some grace
may the pheasants flock
and bluebirds talk

Love the first stanza, very influential. I hope I am not making assumptions by relating #8 to the first stanza. Also, line #5 seems strangely placed. I'm not sure how well that works with the last stanza if the speaker is already talking about finding hope in death seeing as the final line is the one that is supposed to convey the "change" in this particular piece. Good work though, it's a decent piece of writing and fairly unique.
