Sorrowful Heart

Sorrowful Heart

A Poem by HavekHavak

I am a man at the age of 23 and nothing have I ever let stop me

I shall admit that I'm not the best, but at least I have something beating inside my chest

I believe in what I believe and a heart that pumps pure, I know what I know and that's for sure

Some people hate me and some like to smile and those are the people who were damaged for a while

A smile doesn't mean that someone is happy, and it surely doesn't mean someone's filled with joy

A smile is a enemy, I had once as a little boy

I remember it clearly, I remember it so

It was like yesterday in the glistening snow

I put a smile on my face to cover my sorrowful heart

I wouldn't let anything tear me apart

I always struggled with stress and school

But I surely wasn't no fool

I know what your thinking, this poem is confusing

But the meaning to it all is what heart you are choosing
