This poem is dedicated to all those people who love to create hurdles in people's lives.

They

They tell you, you’re hopeless

Ignore anyway

They tell you, you won’t make it to your dreams

Pursue anyway

 

They smile when you’re in trouble

They laugh when you cry

They always hide their true personalities

Because they want you to wonder why?

 

They try to bring your confidence down

Rise anyway

They will always continue to exist

Disregard them anyway

 

You’ve got to stay focused

And learn to always Smile,

Despite they keep you bothered

Wrapped in dissatisfaction, eventually they die.

Hi Madhu - I like the repeated use of 'anyway' in this one. I didnt like thatthe word 'ignore' was used twice - unlike 'anyway' which is key I felt to this - perhaps replace the second instance with 'disregard (them anyway)'.

The lines -
"Despite they keep you bothered
Wrapped in dissatisfaction, eventually they die." - I felt could be better. Inserting 'that' after 'Despite' might improve, or not, what do you think Madhu? And 'Wrapped', in the final line is good but how about a word that makes their dissatisfaction seem more toxic to them - how about 'Consumed by'

Thank you Anto for the review, this is a brilliant suggestion! Yep, I agree to the idea that "disregard" could be placed instead of "ignore". That would make the poem even more apt.
However, I think that the last stanza is completely fine because the message is clearly conveyed. The word I used is "wrapped", so it already states that they are "consumed by" dissatisfaction plus the idea was to represent something that surrounds them with it. So according to me "wrapped" is a perfect word. :) Thank you once again for pointing out certain elements and for your suggestion that will improve my writing Anto :)
