Just some random thoughts

Back in time, in seasons divine

Warm, sunny days that shine

Eagerness, desperation to meet you

Meeting was only an excuse to see you

 

We drank coffee and ate the cake,

My eyes paused upon your face

With every passing day, our love grew strong

And every moment of separation seemed wrong

 

Plans failed, dreams clashed

All your gifts were put into trash

With memories I crawl back in time

Those days of passion when you were only Mine

Interesting how quickly things can come crashing down on us. Even when we love someone with everything we are, it can still break apart and end up hurting us. You can't have your cake and eat it too. This saying is overused but will always remain relevant, I feel. I'm sorry for your suffering though. I've been through it and it's never easy. I wish you well.
