Uninvited Guests

Uninvited Guests

A Poem by TheUntamedMind

Feelings,
Creatures that creep in unannounced,
Invading a space uninvited,
Seeping through parts uncovered,
Leaving one bare, exposed.
Some nights I wish I get numb, paralyzed even
Some nights I wish I could run away
Some nights I wish I could cry myself to sleep,
But most nights, I really don't even know.
Sitting in the dark reflecting,
Wondering why they still bother me,
Subtle enough, another wrestles these uninvited guests,
The sound of silence gongs soo loud,
Pounding my brain unapologetically.
What do I do with all of them,
These untamed ones with funny names,
Please come announced, invited, with grace
And maybe..just maybe, I'll learn how to deal with these little creatures apologetically.
