Black heart, Gold heart

He reaches for what he cannot touch

The light dims around and darkness engulfs

 

With a black heart like his

There is no chance to be loved

 

A monster it consumes

It won’t let him go

 

Only a heart of gold

Can save him from this dark retched hole

 

But that is something he cannot foresee

Not something he believes he can find
