These demons in my head

I lie here awake
In the dead of night
My head starts to ache
I still can't get over this fright

There are demons in my head
Telling me to go kill myself instead

These voices come from my own head
As I lie here in bed
I decide to put up a fight
I won't listen to those voices
I can make my own choices!

Author's Note

I was in bed last night and it was 2:00 AM and I couldn't sleep so I decided to make this little poem
