what a miserable day today :(

What day is it?

I can't remember!

What time?

Anytime!

Am I awake?

Maybe!

 

 

Good lord, I'm cold!

It's wet, it's dark.

Outside it's stark!

Grey and uninviting,

Think I'll go back to bed!

Yeah, I seriously can relate to every words you've just described. I, myself, am not a morning person, either. When you've said those lines; "I'm cold! It's wet, it's dark. Outside it's stark! Grey and uninviting" It reminded me of that camping trip I took when it was raining overnight and my "waterproof" tent was soaked with leftover of the rain... "waterproof" my a*s...

Anyway, it's pretty good tho and good morning to you, too...

I quite know how you feel, it's been like that in NY for days now! I especially like the urgency in the second verse: Good lord! I'm cold, it's wet, it's dark. Outside it's stark. Grey and uninviting. Think I'll go back to bed!

I think I shall too! Nice job, I enjoyed the lightheartedness in this piece, even if it's a bit gray. LOL
BTW: It's exactly THAT here this morning!
