Hi There Help Me;
All I know about you is that you live in New York. I've been to New York. Not a great city to be alone in but the same can be said about all big cities.
Your user name makes me wonder if "I'm Alright" is about you ... I sincerely hope not.
But whatever the case it's a piece of writing that like jumps off the page and grabs the reader around the throat. The final line in particular seems to indicate that all hope is lost. I know there is still hope. There always is ....

you're right about the "there's always hope" but in my point of view, hope just holds me back. It makes it even harder to breathe then it already was, and it stops me from doing something deadly.....but how long till its all gone?
