Daydreamer

Daydreamer

A Poem by Alicia Nicole

That tiny part of you is sitting there waiting for the phone to ring

Even though you know it won't

All you want is to pick up and hear her voice

"Hi"

That's all you want

You want her to be waiting for you

Waiting for that moment till she can run

Run back to you

And tell you everything is going to be okay

No matter how much you hate her

You still love her

Everyone bone in your body reaches for her

Every beat of your heart screams her name

Its like your screaming into the wind and breath carries it all futher away

You feel so pathetic

So worthless

But it helps me on these  nights like these

When I think of you waiting for me

When I dream

When I speak

When everything seems okay

Its because your some where out there
