This One Thing

After every goodbye I never know what to say

It always seems you turn my world upside down 

Every goodbye it was you that has broken me 

I never knew it could be so easy for you 

To fall out of love so fast I couldn't even grasp it

Every goodbye was soon followed by one more hello and a promise of every tomorrow 

Each time you slowly became 

Each breathe I feel even further

Head over heels is what you did to me every last time 

But this time was different

This time there isn't anymore love to be found 

Every dream crumbled 

Every wish became another curse to slip through my lips

I lost every once of air my lungs had every held 

Every desire was one of blood lust 

My screams pierced the night air with something less then a sound

This time I know you won't be coming back around

Now forever is just another fairytale

Every promise is laying shattered on the floor 

Memories continue to tear me to pieces

You can leave but you can never take my love away
