CLOSURE

CLOSURE

A Poem by Dr Sharmila Parajuli
"

People come into your life for some reason and they leave. Every single person teaches you something or the other. But please do find a closure in any relationship.

"

My dear friend, why did you even entered my life?

When eventually cases of cheating and betrayal are still rife

Why did you make me feel so special about myself?

That now I have become totally averse to feelings, emotions and relationships itself

How did I not know that love and clairvoyance should not be explored together?

When love and infatuation can change to lust and dirty game in any weather

How could I not guess your reason of coming into my world?

When your mission was only to snatch my respect and dignity with ego so knurled

Why I was so blindfolded that I trusted your frequent excuses citing compatibility issues?

When I knew that the more I tried to convince myself, the more it will damage the body’s equilibrium and tissues

Should I label our relationship as one that only meets temporary emotional needs?

Or, some life lessons that I need to teach my teenage children to be kind and to do good deeds

So, tell me my friend, don’t you think it’s important to have closure in any relationship that ends?

Because I guess you don’t want to be remembered as some sadist and old foe, if not friends
