Let love die

A short poem I wrote about a year ago, that has been on my phone untouched.

Although it was hard,

To rip you from my bones,

I may be scarred,

But I'm better of alone.

It's OK that you still care,

It's OK, the pain won't last,

I'm no longer yours to share,

The only thing we have is past.

So hate me, break me,

Into a million shards in your head,

And maybe, just maybe,

One day this love will be dead.
