RoadA Poem by Mercy FaeLife, love, and the feelings of loneliness
Walking.
Staring at the pavement below, talking. While I really want to scream. Shoving the memories from the open doorway. Wishing I lived faraway, in Norway. So I wouldn't have to see. I find myself always tucked away in corners. Waiting for someone I always hope to see more of. But the pain and sorrow never escapes through my lips. Shouting, screaming. Crying, dreaming. Wishing I wasn't away from you. But I just want you to... Save me from the open road © 2014 Mercy FaeReviews
