StatuesA Poem by Hiroshi Masters
Statues
I can't move my body We're statues standing Nothing to do here, Old and rusty cemented As rain pour onto my head A lonely broken heart My love will never seperate us Our face looking blank We are like frozen statues I battle to keep love alive A moon started to shine We come back to life, I feel your heart beating You'll never be alone, Dreaming that love will last We will keep it together Make it stronger than ever, I don't want to let you go Because my heart is for you My time will come Before we turn back to statues, I will be there for you Our life will never change I will never forget you, You'll remain in my heart When I'm left with cracks You left me stranded alone My tears started to falling Into my cheeks, I wish I could touch you Let you hold me right, I'm still living in a dream You're what I want in my life I will never leave you alone Keep you in my mind Our love remain stronger Forever in my heart always I promise you tonight I will keep you in prayers We're statues falling in love Don't leave me tonight. © 2015 Hiroshi MastersAuthor's Note
