Monster Turtle

Monster Turtle

A Chapter by Holly O'Brien

I have no idea why I dreamt of  a turtle last night but the image this dream left in my mind is just flat out disturbing. I only remember it in fragments so I'll write it as I remember.

I first remember this huge turtle about four or five feet long... it was chasing this smaller turtle with no shell....and when it finally caught the little turtle it pulled the little turtle into its shell....and all of a sudden it was like the little turtle belonged to the shell all along....as if it was just the shell chasing him. It's like me and a few other people were watching this on TV or something so whoever was watching it with me laughed at it.

But the next part freaked me out. After that part...it was like they found this big, strange turtle once again....and this time it was a young boy trapped in the turtles shell. It looked so f*****g disturbing because the boy and turtle were pretty mucky. And the boy's skin was pale and purplish like he was struggling to breath. It was like the turtle was practically drowning the boy. But it was how the little boy was trying to squeeze out of the shell....just the way he kept trying to push himself out but couldn't. (Imagine an eyeball bulging out of it's sockets a little and then sinking back comfortablely into the eyes socket) Ugh....it was soooo disturbing...thinking about it now makes me want to throw up!

I will never see turtles the same way again.

Damn, girl. Don't eat Pita Pockets before bed! :P I have no idea what dreams mean, but I hope this was just pure randomness! Thanks for sharing!
