POEM TO YOU....AMY WINEHOUSE

I wrote this poem to show how much I was a fan of hers since I first heard her powerful and beautiful voice, I felt such a connection to her words and how she mad her music sound so poetic!

Sent into a season of Funk and reason

 

beautiful, soulful songs leaving me speechless

 

poetic flow of an infamous queen

 

shortfused your light didnt have much time to beam

 

waiting for your return was an continous dream

 

Carry weight not only in your HAIR

 

You took wrong paths to deal with your despair

 

Yet then I think, if they wasnt there..

 

you wouldnt have been able to whisper

 

your realness in my ear

 

stylistic jazz, with such pizzazz

 

How I wish your existance Last...

I love Amy winehouse! and I love her for what she brought to pop culture. Most people joked about her problems with drugs and the ways she looked... I personally thought she was beautiful! and always wished that she would come out with more great music before she died...
