Chapter 1

I sit up, hearing an unusual sound. Then I hear the screams as they start ringing through the night. I slide out of bed and pad over to the window, but before I can see much the lights go out. I stare through the window as the lights keep shutting off as far as I can see.

Before you ask, I'm not human like you would think. My name is Nocomi, and I am a werewolf/faerie hybrid. At ten years old, I have seen more death than any human child alive right now. I've watched several of my siblings and family get brutally murdered, and nearly been killed myself.

I am planning to make this longer, yes. I was thinking about writing more tonight after I get someone to look at my injury, so that I can post more tomorrow when I'm in less pain.
