Broken: A Ghost's Tale & From: Her To: Him

This is two poems in one. Thanks in advance

Again and again

My life had been ruined

But then I feared

Not for me, but for him

My plan had been set

It was a desperate plan

Until I was told

She would be there

Right then my plan crumbled

Broke down to dust

I would lose him

Because of her

Now I am done

I've turned to ash

That night I gave up

That night I died

I swear I tried

Yet in the end I failed

My depression got worse

Because I failed you

I wanted to see you

Needed to hear your voice

And your accented promise

"I love you"

So I guess I'm done

I give up for good

I don't deserve you

So why do I try?

I won't touch a razor

I won't turn to drugs

I'll just take this blade

And stake my own heart

I won't be a bother

I won't make a sound

I won't do anything

To hurt you again

But since we broke up

Why should you care

When you left me crying in the rain

When you left me there alone

This is an excellent poem, I can feel a whole range of emotions coming through in the rhythm. It has an almost explosive feel to it, like these emotions have been hiding for a while and it's pouring out. Love it x
