Love that ending...so many draft papers end wadded up and thrown into the waste basket as crap..we writers just have to keep on though until we get it right no doubt

Reading this, especially at the ending, I immediately thought of Silence Dogood. Probably two completely different things but if you think about it, they're both opinion based on what is good and what isn't (to them).

Anyway, this was quite the expressive write. Nice!

Sometimes I work at a poem
like a dog with a bone,
though on occasion it flows,
where 'ere my mind goes
whether metered or
free written prose.
