Whether it's sports, entertainment, or the arts; a recipient of any hall of fame must possess talent, skill, and commitment to their craft. The following list is a personal, unbiased record of poets and storytellers who deserve recognition for outstanding contributions to Writers Cafe. You may not see a writer you think deserves recognition; my apologies go out to those who I've missed. 

There are good writers here but reviews are not as easy to come by as they once were. Also, people leave and you don't know if they're coming back. Sometimes they change their name. 

The many names here are in no particular order.

While I have only been here six and a half months, I have found some wonderful fellow writers here. A few special friends I even feel confident sharing work back and forth with during the tender polishing process, I have found on WC. Thank you for honoring writers and their efforts here. This Hall of Fame is a great way for us to find authors that we might have otherwise missed! ;)

Such a wonderful idea. I'm fairly new to this community, having been here for nine months today. I recognize many of the people on this list, but I also haven't so much as heard about many. The humor and personality this list has makes more than just an acknowledgment. It's a story all its own.

Yes, she was hounded by trolls when she tried to return last year. She had a unique style. You can still find some of her poems here somewhere. I read a couple yesterday. *smiling back*

Tim, I have seen your edits to this noteworthy list, however I have never fully read it enough to comment until today so I comment that you are to be commended to take the time to share names with others so that we may have the opportunity to get to know other writers. I realize this is "your list" and in scanning the names I see so many that have been with us for a few years when the Cafe was quite a different place; when friends seemed to be just that, friends not only as a writer, but as one who we were happy to be acquainted with. Things have changed, but many of "us" are still here to share, encourage, learn with.

Yes, the list shall ever be changing as writers shall continue to come and go, but those of us who want to remain shall do so, through the thick and thin of whatever comes our way through the doors of "The Writer's Cafe"!

I am indeed honored to find my name included with others and for this I sincerely thank you! I will take the time to read the work of others you have mentioned.

May I always remain worthy of such recognition in your eyes.

I only know maybe about 45 percent of the writers on this list, but out of the ones I do know, they all deserve to be on this list. I really need to review more than I do, because I could use some awesome writing to inspire me to write more. The ending note made me chuckle a bit. Overall, superb selection, Relic! :)

OMG Thank you so much Relic ^^ I am honored to be part of this list ^^ Well I will try to get higher on this list ^^ Well I hope you enjoy the poetry I write (That's always what I hope for anyone who's reading my writes) This is also a really awesome way to promote writers who haven't received attention and reviews and have not been recognised as such even when their works could be really good. There are so many on this list I need to read ^^ Thank you for sharing ^^ And thanks once again for considering me as one of the up and coming poets. ^^ Another source of inspiration for me to continue writing and breaking higher grounds ^^

I have no desire to have my name removed. If this means something to you, then it is your right to publicly voice it. I would be a hypocrite if I allowed some spats to influence your judgment or my own for that matter. I appreciate the acknowledgment. I will certainly follow up on some of the writers you have mentioned.

Can I ask what prompted this list-making? Just curiosity, no ill intent. I only ask because of the fluidity of this site, writers coming and going and some existing here but unheard of because of the vast space. Are you basing this list on writers you have had contact with personally or also including reccommendations from others? I ask because I feel a name is genuinely missing from the list of poets: Errenn. Check this work out, see for yourself...

She will be included. This list started in 2013 when it was a very different place. Reviews were plenty and friends were always a click away. Yet, I didn't want to develop a clique of friends for this list only. I read a lot of people here and didn't see the recognition for their work I thought they deserved. Therefore, why not mention their names and get them more reads and reviews.

A lot has gone on since this was created. Many here are gone now. Therefore, the list is always evolving. Not a lot of people have given me names as you can see below so I read, a lot. I may not always review, but I know when someone is good and when they're not.

If I see a mistake, I mention it. I don't sugar-coat anything. That's got me into trouble in the past. I've written enough about that though so I won't go into detail.

Anyway, that's the gist of it.
