The Moon Shone Through Her Window

The Moon Shone Through Her Window

A Poem by Relic

73 of 365

She nestled her head like some moonlight sliver
on my shoulder.

As I plagiarized the warmth of the fading sun,
I pulled her against me;
my lust rising like mercury.

Maneuvering magical motions in shadows,
the full moon traced its light on the floor
as we rolled on wool woven horses,
and the night slipped away without our noticing.

"It was then, I plagiarized the sun's warmth,
pushing against her body,
measuring her like mercury."

*sigh* This is truly a beautiful and magical piece of poetry, Relic.
The imagery is captivating,
I can even feel the warmth.
Very romantic.

~~ it's a beautiful piece of poetry... a song actually... and i really liked the instances of alliteration in this piece... ~~ they add to the music in the atmosphere... ~~ i guess she was glad about the plagiarism... :P
