I still visit the profiles of old friends here, some that I know seldom if ever, revisit the site. Others are departed from life itself. I revisit their comments on my posts on other sites as well. I'll find one and say, well, wasn't that nice? This is eloquently poignant. I enjoyed and I relate. F.

As do I. They are like monoliths on a partways barren land.
Fine imagery Relic. I can smell the dust and feel the worn pages. You words take me inside an abandoned house. Everything is still and lifeless. I walk through a black and white photo hearing voices and laughter in my mind. Well done.
Peace,

This is a stark portayal of things and beings - abandoned! I once was a member of a well known writers group which 'abandoned' its members, without warning. Sad but what can we do but move on ~ hopefully to something/somewhere of greater benefit or even one on par. Like the image you put on. Thanks for a lovely read.
Tgis is so good, and true. The wanted poster line reverberates like an echo, through the abandoned vaults that all writers here will recognise. They cant all have forgotten theirlog in details :)
I hate knowing that I often go long periods of time without being on my account. Aching each day to know if any of my recent writes have gotten any new reviews or wondering if any messages have been answered. It's a lonely feeling, that's for sure, but I feel that's how it is for us writers. We seem to try so hard for people to notice us, our words and talent, when often, it can be left up in the air. I enjoyed the feel of empty air, the empty questions in this poem. Thanks for letting it be known. I'm sure many appreciate it!

Thank you, Svetlana. I can relate to your review. I'm not on as much.
how funny that I would come upon this today when I opened up my account for the first time in months! Its relatable in all the most shameful ways, and the imagery is haunting and lovely. I imagine old poems of mine blowing through a run down and airy house with holes in the walls and rodents peeking at me while they munch on my unfinished stories
Ohhh much like for this one. Comparing the abandoned account as you would describe an abandoned building. Much description and detail put in this! Trés bien!

It must be the curiosity of all that went on in them before. The people, the events. What once was.

They're eerie, abandoned of life; just a shell skeleton, barren and desolate, uncared fir and ready to be explored!!! :D
