I hate death

I hate death

A Poem by Relic
"

Just feelings.

"
It seems like such a shame,
all that laughter, conversation,
and hanging out.

They just lowered him into the ground
like a basket of rotting bread.

I hate death,
he's so selfish.

I don't care much for it either..but it's inevitable
that we're all going to perish
I think the older and closer to death we become..the more acceptable it becomes

Well, maybe someday if you're lucky a terrorist will shred your body with bullets or blow you up. :)

A wee bit violent but hahahahaha! I didn't mean actually dying. The thought of death and what death .. read more
Hmm. So isn't life, keeping us captive in suffering. Who knows what's on the other side. I rather be there than here.... Grr

I've been there. But on sunny days when it's warm and flowers are in bloom I change my mind.
It can sure seem that way. The part that gets me is when the good are taken too soon, while the rotten ones live till ninety. Hopefully, there will be justice in the end.

You make a good point, Sam. Thanks.
So simple, raw, painful. It is as lovely as it is sad.

Thank you, Lyn.
Ah, Relic, without Death, the world would still be filled with those rotten souls who caused so much misery.
I'm not running at him with open arms, but I do not fear him. None of us know what lies beyond the veil, but it will be the next great adventure.
Good write, Happy New Year.

Thank you, Ted. Same to you.
Burials literally are the pits, please excuse the pun. Cremations are far better in my opinion. That lowering of the coffin into the grave, does my head in. My Dad was buried, the feelings I got of being engulfed and not being able to breathe, I've never forgotten. We all have to go, it's how we go. I hate death too. Your lines evoked a whole lot of emotion in me.

Thanks for reading, Chris.
I agree, I am no fan of death but sometimes it is a blessing
I think if I were to aim my arrow I might also give excessive pain and endless suffering a twang or two
