~Au revoir, sweet summer sun.~A Poem by Relicreposted and stuck on a shelf. Pay no attention.![]() Au revoir, sweet ladybugs And warblers flying south. Greetings to the Harvest pie That's melting in my mouth. We've stowed away the fishing rods, The bathing suits; the kites. Now's the time to bid adieu To flies intrigued by lights. Snow is on its lofty way To overlay the leaves. And sit amidst the bulky ice That freezes on the eaves. Falling from the arctic air - Each snowflake soon will cling. Lounging like a group of stars "Til winter turns to spring.
