Color of Sky

   

In one hour

long streaks of orange

will embrace the red

which will embrace the blue

as the multicolored sky 

departs through the door of darkness

waving goodbye

and goodnight.

Twilight and dusk! It's my favourite part of the day. When all the colours melt into one and darkness cloaks all. It always has a soothing effect on me and so does your poem. It's written in such a calming way to reflect what it describes. It's a lovely piece.

Reminds me of a slow sllent movie alive with colour... fading to.. that beautifully laid 'goodnight' Calm as can be, visually but briefly laid, Relic.
