A very meaningful piece of brevity Tim. Yes, the eyes are like that when it comes to words. We hover, alight, feed and then flyaway.

Don't know if you meant to, but this poem is a classic example of Tanka poetry... Not based on syllables necessarily...but by meaning, style and essence. Haikus, Tankas, and Senyrus don't follow the traditional definition anymore, anyway. Excellent write no matter what we call it. Well done.
