worship rainy days?

Do they also stand at windows 

as though in church pews

peering out

towards glossy streets,

at dripping leaves 

trying to gleam any kind of wisdom

under gray filtered skies?

As though its sermons 

were meant to teach us?

I do not know about all poets, but yes, I love rain! Anytime, everytime , anywhere, and all the time :)

It is one of the most fascinating things to witness! Everything feels so fresh, as if it has been reborn :)

I love the sound of the rain and and the smell of the rain....the putter patter on my roof.... the rain is a nutrient and essential for our existence.....and that of nature as well....the rain can also be very spiritual as there are rain Gods in many parts of the world.....nice!!

I love rainy days. just the perfect day for me to get some tea and fritters. enjoy the weather, look at the skies, the street down the road, the trees and the birds around. Rainy days are magical for me, I so love them. Nice imagery, beautifully written, Relic. Thanks for taking me to those lovely rainy days.
