This too shall pass.A Poem by Relic |

Very smooth read - nice flow - strong rhymes that seem very natural not forced. One more encouragement to me for a work I have in mind about disappearing. Enjoyed the read greatly - if I caught it correctly someones passing supplied the clothes for the scarecrow - hope that is correct - if so or in any event a very nicely done stanza - carl

Ahh, I missed autumn this year as we seemed to have went straight into winter without passing go or collecting 200 dollars!
Nicely captured Autumnal scene Relic. How did you catch it? 😃 Posted 1 Year Ago |

this beautiful ode to autumn has also a philosophical side. that change is the only constant means that pain will too taper off. i kept imagining someone going through a difficult time in their life taking a walk and watching the squirrels and ravens. they go home feeling a bit better; understanding their current hardships will eventually depart.

Autumn is a sensational season to embrace . .
It's beyond breathtaking So beautiful I'm drifting in these delicate moments while reading your words. ' mist and shadows flee, ' as ' squirrels gnaw at pumpkin seeds. ' I love this image. : ) Posted 1 Year Ago |

You have captured Autumn superbly in this wonderful sublime write, dear R. Visual detail is simply stunning and yes, human beings have seasons in their lives too, just as Mother Nature has gifted us with seasons in the calendar and like the seasons in nature, our seasons change too. They come and go and we eventually, if we live long enough, find ourselves in the Winter of our life. That is our final phase in this lifetime. Kudos well deserved, dear R! Thank you for sharing your amazing poetry with me this evening...

You have created a Turner landscape with these stanzas. Beautiful, vivid imagery of autumn sliding into winter. A wonderful composition. Quite lovely.
