Yes, It happens, sometimes when one is married for a long time.... or they just don't have enough in common... they don't enjoy each other's company... silence in this case is not golden, it's very sad, in my view....sameness can get very boring....and lonely as well... time to fine something that makes you happy!!!
Thank you for sharing!
Warmly, B
Okay, but I'm a chef so no way I'm eating the same food every day. And I've never really hated work but I'm retired now so it's a moot point. I like walking alone, especially in the woods. Maybe you should ask the woman down the street out. Maybe she's lonely too.

It doesn't mean you shouldn't still ask the woman down the street out. lol
This one is simple but powerful. It quietly captures the emptiness of routine and the loneliness of disconnection. Nothing dramatic, just real, raw, and honest. It lingers. But to be honest, I found it quite sad. I mean according to this poem, the speaker feels sad and lonely... I mean, nowadays, it's mostly like this with people. Everyone is just too busy in their own world like they have forgotten about their loved ones also... I hope that you never get to experience this yourself though, the quiet
Loneliness. Overall, I enjoyed reading this poem. I really really loved this poem. Truly!!!
This one sounds close to home. I'm afraid romance is too much like a beautiful flower that wilts after a few days. There are evergreen trees, so why can't there be evergreen blossoms?
I've been an amateur scribbler since 2009. You can also find me on Stars Rite under my real name Tim. Many of those poems are from this account. more..
