A Writers Cafe Fee?

The question has been put forth due to the site's failing health that a Writers Cafe monthly fee would help benefit the site as long as that fee is reasonable. The writer's online page is stuck, there are too many ads, a spate of spam is making its rounds through private messages and so on.

Charlie (the owner and Mod) is rarely seen. Would it benefit WC to offer a fee to improve what many consider to be the best online writers site?

Would you pay a fee to be here? Do you trust the owner? Is a donation page better?

Hi Relic.. It's been a long time.
I haven't posted on this site since 2015, and honestly, it's just too slow. The idea of paying a fee simply to post my poetry feels a little steep. I'd be more inclined to pay if it were a fast, feature-rich app available on the Google Play or Apple stores. Make it worth the investment

I love this site. With all its options, it could be really great.
BUT IF the moderator has an illness like schizophrenia and is UN-medicated, he or she won't care about the health or longevity of the site.
He or she will use it for their own purpose and let it go.
Schizophrenia can be managed. But UN-medicated, it only cares about ONESELF.
YOU CAN NOT REASON WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA. THEY DO NOT HAVE THAT CAPABILITY.

I POSTED A DOCUMENTARY ON SCHIZOPHRENIA AND WAS DELETED IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT WARNING.
THERE WERE NO RULES AGAINST POSTING TRUTHFUL DOCUMENTS ON MENTAL ILLNESS.
MY OWN GRANDFATHER WAS SCHIZOPHRENIC AND TONY "TOLD" ME HE WAS AS WELL.

I HAVE BEEN TO BBB SEVERAL TIMES BECAUSE TONY OR ANYBODY WITH THE TECHNICAL SKILLS CAN ACCESS UNLIMITED SITES.
ONLY A FEW ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE TO HIM.
THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU TOLD ME THEIR ONLY OPTION IS TO "ASK" HIM TO STOP.
BEYOND THAT, THEY ARE POWERLESS.
THERE ARE NO RULES AND LAWS IN PLACE REGARDING THE INTERNET.
