She Subscribed

She's subscribed to his/her writing because that writer they're subscribing to hasn't been here in many years if not decades. 

In fact, she's subscribed to about 15 to 20 writers who haven't been here in years. The subscriber seems to know who to subscribe to all at once on the live feed. This has been going on for quite some time now. The subscriber has no writing. Is there a reason for this? 

Many are realizing it. Fishy things are going on. This site is crumbling. 

Update: They're subbing to writers presently here now.

I don't befriend members here without any posted writing to read but I'm not on any witch hunt either. A word to the wise is sufficient and fools won't listen no matter what. I'd just block them and move on.

A agree with you 100%! and my idea of charging $5.00 per month might keep those "subscribers" away; the site is getting too big for its britches... and I can't keep track of who is who anymore....am getting many who want to be artists for my writing!!! and I get blocked from people who don't even know me!!!

That’s true — you’ve described a real problem. Many people subscribe just for fun or to harass, with no real connection and no writing on their profile, only to hurt people they don’t even know. Some have blocked me for reasons I don’t understand, and I’ve blocked others because they keep harassing me by making new profiles. I honestly don’t know what to do with such people, but what you wrote is the reality.

I've also been blocked in the past for reasons I'll never know. In times like that I've learned to forget it like a passing car out the window. Thanks for the comment.

Hi Relic, I can only speak from my own experience. I was on Wattpad when I was emailed by someone from WritersCafe inviting me to join this great free site. So I eagerly came on board. At first, I got loads of friend requests. During the year since I joined, friends became blank accounts with no writings. After approximately a year, things dwindled to sporadic postings declaring the site is fraudulent with a member even saying within the year, the glitches will take down the site completely. I love Writers Cafe. But I've seen this happen before with members losing hundreds even thousands of writings. If anyone ever noticed, I deleted all my writings periodically as I copied them into my emails. Just be vigilant. And cautious.

Dear Relic,
I've noticed it too. Isn't it eerie? Yesterday, an unknown lady boosted my write and subscribed to it and also sent me a friend request. She has no posts. I also get a mail everyday from some random account offering services like art, animation etc.
This poem has such a spooky, intriguing touch to it. Loved it.
