Rodin

A Poem by Hugh Oliver

Knee on chin, head in hands
Balled and round
A mind six feet under ground
Desperate Despair
Isolated and wrought.
Darkened hope
A lengthy rope
A choke, splutter, then final croak
An empty shell,
Decaying smell,
An end to unrelenting hell
