Soft Autumn LeavesA Poem by Hutchwilderness dream
Such a peaceful place to have my bed after a day of adventure somewhere to lay my head upon the earth covered roots of a mighty longleaf pine they console me tonight so passionate and kind
the rivers were wide the mountains tall my trousers wet my body bruised from a fall the hoot of an owl in a nearby tree sets loose my spirit to roam so wild and free
my dreams are so lost from a body so tired wolves could drag me off for i'm so totally expired like the aroma of a bakery or fresh cut hay these soft autumn leaves nourish me...i'll forever here stay
