I don't get overheated

It's now 6:35pm on Sunday 

I haven't been anywhere

I haven't spent any money

online or otherwise.

I haven't painted anything

nor fixed anything.

I haven't washed any vehicle

nor mowed any lawn.

I haven't sanded or sawed

or brushed.

I did look at my Hoover 

but it was only a glance.

I haven't seen a movie

I don't own a TV

I've been awake since 5am

and I haven't experienced 

a moment of boredom.

What have I done to unwind?

I don't get wound up!

What have I done to relax?

I am relaxed and there is

nothing I need to do.

Have I been chilling?

I don't get overheated.......

oh i need to take a lesson from this.
If i am still for too long i feel guilty I have to be doing something or i feel lazy!!

i think people more often than not make their own stress....create the chaos in their lives...

also in this piece, i am reminded a bit of myself...i don't get bored...there is something in each moment of life to be embraced, "even in the quietest moments" ( as supertramp sang)

I used to guide a guy on hiking trips who was blind from birth. John had never seen the light of day. It was my privilege and pleasure in those times to explain the sights I saw when we were in the mountains. It was in the detailed explanations that I discovered how little true notice I was taking in those things that surround us.
I now take extra care to note even the seemingly trivial and I often surprise myself by seeing for the first time a beauty I'd been overlooking all my life.
I attempt to use all my senses to the uttermost and if I fail to hear the birds singing then I'm walking to fast.

True observers never get bored.
