They sought for comfort.

Emotionally unstable people are like magnets 

that only attract others who are equally unstable

They don’t connect they just collide 

There is no comfort in a collision 

no emotional healing just more selfishness

more anxiety, more fear, more confused imaginings.

Not being able to accept responsibility 

for being the cause of their own misery

they blame everything and everyone

especially the very person they sought for comfort.

There is an old saying that, "birds of a feather join together". This is the same with drug addicts, alcohol addicts, football hooligans and so on. This short work is the culmination of observations and experiences throughout my life.
