They say that time is a great healer

what they don’t tell you is that before it heals

it opens a door to the greatest hurts, fears and misery

known to man and them some more…

They tell the addict that time will diminish the craving

but all that time does is to prove them to be liars.

They keep the child looking forward in time

year after year pretending that in time he will grow up

and be able to make his decisions but time disappoints

The teen is told to make the most of time spent in education 

 and in time he will reap a reward and be satisfied

Satisfied young men, however, are found hanging from trees
