I’ve been trying to imagine

my mother at 60+

Wearing a red rugby shirt

and drunkenly screaming

with her “friends”, we’re on tour!

As if that stupidity justified the appalling

behaviour of mutton dressed as lamb.

Search as I have the embarrassing image

is not there, thankfully.
