A very interesting and abstract piece. Words can crush us. And silent as a spider reminds me of Ars Poetica and the idea of all the words together creating a feeling...they don't need to draw attention individually but together...they can make us happy or sad...but feeling someething.

I absolutely agree that such emulsified feelings that exudes from a blank screen, could invariably make us feel something.
Your review means a lot. Double thanks for introducing me to Ars Poetica.
I sense the dizzying weight of longing...that feeling where your identity feels completely given over, or "made," by the object of your affection.
The image of a "Neptune crush" is stunning; it captures something overwhelming, vast, and maybe a little destructive, like being swept away by a tide.
perfectly mirrors that sense of a crushed, unstable self, melting into "sandwaves." There’s a beautiful, fragile energy in this surrender.
Words portray or dismay.. depends on whether or not they make sense, love or understanding when offered. Brevity (near unknown to or by me!) is a nudge but a paragraph wakes the mind then allows debate within or discussion with another. That slow movment leaves openendedness (is that a word?): time with a swallow in flight or in throat. Sandwaves here this moment, gone with the tide.. sentenced to live on in the mind when a poet writes with depth. Many thanks.

Thank you for the kind words, Emma. Brevity is not always dietary. But it definitely could be. .. read moreThank you for the kind words, Emma. Brevity is not always dietary. But it definitely could be.
The western concept of value can be a trap. A spider's web of eternal struggle. I'd rather work the drive thru at Taco Bell.

Maybe working at Taco Bell may lead to liberation from such concepts. We nevertheless try to feel as free as we can I guess.
