Ocean, You Say? (Yours)

Ocean, You Say? (Yours)

A Poem by Matt Chevalier

In earnest;
Blinding lights
And
Season
-al sounds
Shield we fragile hearts
With glitter in pounds.

But in these,  clashing , times,
(Most of which are mine)
Rooms are building themselves
To keep,  fates , intertwined.

I, the home of pretentious, pretender
Let me keep (them) to myself.
