Poem binge

And all things come to the end... 

The end of all things universal and adhesive.

Life the uncontrollable force of wills and bends

To have peace one must prepare for war

and thus begotten from war is change

and change is yet another end unto all things...

And end every chapter shall

What a stunning analogy of life. But it's true..you think about the times in our history when peace was aquired..it was always aquired after much blood shed.

Interesting use of language too...so simple; I truly enjoyed this.

So true, and especially poignant for writers, eh?
For some reason this poem made me think of the author Robert Jordan, and how he died before he finished the Wheel of Time series...

I feel close to any piece of work that comfortably, and almost softly embraces any of the harsh realities of this life. Some could say this piece is cold, I view it as realistic and upllifting. I guess it is comforting to hear that this merry-go-round does not last forever. =)
