I Wish

Everyone has those deep thoughts and desires they Wish would come true...

I Wish

I Wish life was easy,
That trials weren't so hard.
I Wish trust wasn't so fragile,
That it blows over like a stack of cards.

I Wish that sorry's,
Really meant "Forgive and Forget".
And I Wish that "I Love You"'s,
Were more than just a thoughtless guess.

I Wish that broken hearts,
Could always be fixed.
That tears would always be dried,
And There would always be a second kiss.

But there's always a reason,
That things come to this.
Reason's we'll never know,
And probably always miss.

I've got to learn to accept it,
Or at least really try,
But I Wish I didn't have to.
