First sign of snow

Just a little something I wrote when it was snowing outside

Ah, to be in the moment

In the first light

In the first sign of snow.

To feel the cold icy drops

Cascade down my face

Leaving trails of moisture

As it melts.

Me too!! Me too!! I especially love to hear the crunch of it when walking through it. I live in San Diego, but I'm from Maryland, so I do miss the winters. Can anything compare to how beautiful it looks on the branches of trees?

I love this poem! I live where it is very cold and snowy in the winter months and even though it gets to a point of dreading it, I admit it is a great thing to love and admire! Good job!

Descriptive...I saw you, standing there, with snow falling, melting in your hair, and the streams of water running down your face...nice visuals, flow, and rhyme...
