Leave it to me

To just write words

Instead of meaningful lines

Across your face.

I too was once like you.

Young and opinionated,

But then they came

And took my youthful voice

Away.

Calla lily sequined thought

You are Incandecence,

Radience,

Let it be remembered

That you shouldn't 

Be taken for naught.

So leave it to me

To write meaningful lines

About the way you smile

While traceing patterns of

Love across your face.

I like the creative tone to this it shows your not too shy to speak. As most people are shy. This makes the reader feel directly spoken to and by that the reader feels welcomed to the poem. I love this and it has given me inspiration for my next poem
